Revitalization of the interior of the tenement house / Warsaw
Who was the design made for?
Revitalization of a 1938 tenement house was carried out at the request of an apartment owner from Żoliborz, Warsaw.
Objectives of the interior design project
We wanted the retro elements to shine among new furniture and designer accessories. Old flats in Żoliborz, initially built for officers, are often dark, so the interior revitalization project included a lot of light and a plan to make the living room visually bigger.
What makes it stand out?
The revitalization of the tenement house interior stands out for our careful approach to antique elements such as a traditional wooden herringbone parquet. Wood with the exact same hue was used for decorating the bedroom and for countertops. In turn, the chairs in the kitchen are original Fameg chairs from the 1970s, “saved” and re-painted specifically for this project.
